For 20 years Maryvale Academy of Ottawa has offered Academic Excellence and Spiritual Growth, forming students in mind, body, and soul through authentically Catholic education. Today Maryvale is at a turning point—our classrooms are full, and demand is higher than ever.
Families are seeking a Christ-centered education where children grow in virtue. Maryvale answers that call through exposure to, and the cultivation of, beauty, goodness and truth. But to continue to be able to serve all who seek such an education, we must expand.
As we celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’re looking ahead with a clear plan:
- Short-Term Growth: Renting additional classroom space to accommodate more students in our current setting.
- Long-Term Expansion: Launching a Development Campaign to secure property for a long term home that will allow us to grow and thrive.
To turn this vision into reality, our goal is to raise $5 million over the next 5 years. This campaign will support a new school facility with expanded classroom space, increasing the continued formation of future disciples of Christ.
Why now?
Maryvale is experiencing incredible growth—a sign of the growing desire for a values-based, faithfully Catholic education. But without new space, we will be forced to turn families away.
We’re at a crossroads. And just like our founders 20 years ago, we are choosing to Go Forth—with vision, courage, and faith.

Planned Giving Options
1. Bequests (Wills & Estates)
Donors can leave a specific dollar amount, a percentage of their estate, or residual funds to Maryvale Academy in their will.
2. Gifts of Securities
Donating publicly traded stocks, bonds, or mutual funds can provide significant tax benefits.
3. Life Insurance Gifts
Donors can name Maryvale Academy as a beneficiary of a life insurance policy or transfer ownership of a policy to the school.
4. Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) & Registered Retirement Income Fund (RRIF) Beneficiary Designation
Donors can designate Maryvale Academy as the beneficiary of an RRSP or RRIF.
5. Gifts of Real Estate
Donors can transfer property to Maryvale Academy while receiving a charitable tax receipt.
