All Saints Day at Maryvale Academy

All Saints Day at Maryvale Academy is always a favourite amongst the students! They have a fun time guessing who is each saint and hearing interesting saint stories.

All ye holy angels and saints, pray for us! We also pray for the faithful departed on this Feast of All Souls. (The children will visit a cemetery next week to pray for the dead.)

Annual Cross Country Meet

Last Friday was a great day for our annual Cross Country Meet! The students ran with courage and perseverance, cheered on by students, alumni and parents.

Last Saturday, after celebrating mass at St. Gabriel Parish in Constance Bay, we set out on our annual hike-a-thon walk in the Torbolton Forest. The weather was perfect and the fall colours were beautiful! Thank you Lord.

HIKE-A-THON 2023

Maryvale Academy’s annual Hike-a-Thon is fast approaching. On October 14th, Maryvale families will do an 8 km hike in the countryside northwest of Ottawa.

Please make our miles count!

Maryvale does not receive any government funding, and relies heavily on its own fundraising efforts. The Hike-a-Thon is Maryvale’s most important fundraising event of the autumn season. Proceeds from the Hike-a-Thon will go directly towards essentials like program resources and student bursaries.

We invite you to support our hikers by making a pledge today.

Donations of $20 and above will receive a charitable tax receipt.

We are grateful for the generosity of all our Trail Sponsors. Our school community will pray for them and their intentions.
