Annual Gala 2017 – upcoming event
2017 is the 100th anniversary of Fatima. We will be celebrating this and Mary's love for all of us and for Maryvale Academy. It is so much fun and is THE winter social event of the year for Catholics in Ottawa!
Remembrance Day
Maryvale had its Remembrance Day service on Nov 11. We had a visitor Major M talk to us about courage, friendship and sacrifice. He reminded us why we remember each year. Grade 7,8 recited psalm 45,46; grade 5,6 recited For the Fallen by Binyon and 3,4 recited In Flanders' Fields by John McCrae.
